Valeo Vocation

Valeo’s mission is to end homelessness for participants seeking full-time employment and permanent housing. This is not only a noble cause but a relatively revolutionary approach. At Mountains Out Media, we aim to be active in our community and proactive in helping those you need it most. That’s why we reached out to Valeo and asked them if they wanted to collaborate on a video which would highlight who they are, what their role in the community is and how their programs are creating lasting change. 

Mountains Out spent 3 days with Valeo filming interviews with employees and members as well as capturing footage from around their office and out on their workforce sites. It was an enlightening experience to say the least. The need in our community is great, but the love and compassion we witnessed during our time with Valeo was even greater. We spent time on ride-alongs with staff and in food banks helping to serve our community. We talked to individuals in recovery and even some who had been through the program and now work on staff at Valeo. We saw a community bound together by love and working diligently to heal itself through compassion and dignity. Since this project wrapped, Mountains Out has stayed in close contact with Valeo, collaborating on more projects and planning new ones for the future.
